I'm constantly looking for a safe source of hydration/nutrition for my ten-year-old son to consume during the school day to help him stay alert. Is this a safe drink for kids? Is there anywhere where I can buy a sample to make sure he likes it before I buy a lot? Thanks.

What's the difference between crystalline fructose and HFCS? Is crystalline fructose healthier than HFCS? Just for curious…

  16. Diane

25 mg per bottle, about the same as a cup of green tea.

  17. Diane

Crystalline fructose and high-fructose corn syrup are often
mistakenly confused as the same product. High fructose corn syrup and
crystalline fructose are made from the same starting material: corn. Crystalline
fructose is the result of several extra processing steps which yield a product
that is close to 100% fructose.
Crystalline fructose is simply pure fructose in crystalline form. It’s
100% fructose. High-fructose – corn syrup is composed of nearly equal amounts
of fructose and glucose. Crystalline fructose is healthier than HFCS for a specific
subset of the population: those with diabetes and pre-diabetes since it helps
    to lower blood glucose concentrations.
In the body, the amount of glucose in the blood is controlled by
insulin, the hormone that helps move the sugar out of the bloodstream and into
cells, where it's used as an energy source. Thus, glucose-containing
sweeteners, such as high fructose corn syrup and sucrose, can cause dangerously
elevated blood sugar levels in people whose bodies don't produce enough insulin
or respond sluggishly to the hormone.

Fructose, on the other hand, isn't controlled by insulin,
which is why it's sometimes called a “diabetic-friendly
carbohydrate,” says Roger Clemens, a professor at the USC School of
Pharmacy whose research has focused on functional foods, food processing and
    nutrition.

Where are you located Suzanne? THiNQ is rolling out to several Wal-mart's across the United States. Let me know what your zip code is and I will let you know if there is a store close to you.

i live in lawrenceburg tn, i bought a bottle of thinq at my local walmart. felt real good at first but later i got a real nasty virus. at first i lost all energy and went to bed then lost 7 pounds due to diarrhea. this was on 10/08/11.also had a temp of 101. maybe the lawrenceburg walmart got a funky batch.

  20. Kjc

Trying Thinq today, for the first time – going with the Mixed Berry flavor.  I could really use a pick-me-up so I hope this helps.  Tastes pretty yummy, we'll see if I notice any difference.  BTW…very cool bottle!!

  21. Diane

Thanks for trying THiNQ! Let us know how you feel. It definitely puts a smile on my face. And it certainly helps me in both stamina and focus in my dancing class!

  22. Dejabsk8ta

The Mixed Berry Thinq drink is a bit strong with the flavor.

  23. Ed3033

they dont sell these @ any of the 3 walmarts near me!!!!!

  24. Zabrinag76

OMG!!! This is the most horrible tasting drink ever!!!! I got mixed berry and I feel ripped off. At first I thought it was just me so I shared it with 3 of my friends, one threw up.  Total false advertising about being delicious!  The only plus is that it is that you can recycle the can.  It tastes like Alka-seltzer!  And way over priced for nasty! I shoulda just donated the money I spent on this to the Good Will outside Wal*Mart!

  25. Zabrinag76

    Ed3033 don't waste your money..it is horrible!

  26. Writingm1

ThinQ is AMAZING!! I am in LOVE with the Mixed Berry. I saw them on the shelf at walmart and grabbed 2 to try. I went back the next trip and grabbed 7, one for every day! I love these!

  27. Writingm1

“delicious” and “tasty” are opinions. Not every person on earth is going to feel the same way. I can't stand the taste of RebBull or any of the Monster drinks, but lots of people love them. To each their own. I love the mixed berry.

  28. guest

I like how the question of it being safe for kids is completely avoided here. Suzanne, I don't believe any 10 year old needs caffeine. Try a balanced diet and water, that general is an accepted nutrition/hydration choice for kids. My goodness, when did it come to this point? He will stay alert if he eats well and sleeps enough.

  29. Yungabe2012

The drink taste really delicious and when I first drank it, I was exhausted and I felt it do its “MAGIC”.
                                                         Thanks ThinQ DrinQ

Hi there. Our Walmart won't accept your free sample coupons since it violates their coupon policy. They will not accept internet printed coupons for free items.

  31. Gramme4

Just tried your mixed berry Thinq.  Sorry, but I have to say it is nasty.  Overly sweet, metallic tasting, two sips and I poured it out.  I am 69, have always used anything natural I can get.  Go to Whole Foods in Franklin for most of my items as I have no place in my small town.

  32. Redtail_hawk

What happened to the free sample?

  33. Daisydog10152

yo dawg to bad you cant make the product as good as the packageing! I bought this drink because of the pretty can design but the taste of this is NASTY!!

  34. Elora

Hated the taste (it kind of reminded me of those tabs you drop in water for indigestion, can't think of the name =/) BUT I love the way I felt after drinking it. I have fibromyalgia so I stay in a fog and really tired most days but after drinking this I felt like a normal functioning human being! Definitely will be buying  more!

  35. Whitney531126

I love your drinks! I would like to say an apple flavored thinq! I love the mixed berry! Would love coupons or something so I could get these drinks a little cheaper! Or a freebie. :) Thanks!

  36. Whitney531126

Just read other comments – every person has different taste so I guess these drinks are a love it or hate it thing. But you won't know til you try! They taste a little different than other drinks but that's what makes it good!

  37. Amanda

THiNQ is my new favorite drink! It’s definitely my go-to now, no more Cherry Coke for me!

  38. I just bought your product at a Walmart and I was immediately impressed with the packaging and the ingredients. As a Crossfitter and very conscious of what I consume, I was pleased to see a very clean energy drink. Please continue what you’re doing and if you have the time to give a Knoxville coffee roaster some advice on bottling, I’m all ears :) Thanks and know that yours is the only energy drink that I would ever buy.
